We believe that data is key to becoming a better farmer through informed decision making, thus creating a better and more profitable business. Brexit isn’t far away, so now more than ever it’s important to take control and use the data available to enhance your farm and your business.
To help our clients, MHA Larking Gowen is hosting a webinar in conjunction with YAGRO. The webinar will include a real-life and interactive taste of what YAGRO Analytics can do, including a walk-through demonstration. This new platform has been created to help farmers across the UK make better decisions, improve profitability and enhance their businesses based on data and history.
More about YAGRO
YAGRO is a team of farmers, entrepreneurs and technologists, who are passionate about making professional farmers’ lives easier and their businesses better. YAGRO Analytics was developed alongside a national steering group of 15 farmers, enabling the creation of a user-friendly platform to empower farmers to better understand their data and the underlying costs of their business.
YAGRO works with individual family farms through to large agri-businesses, all of whom face similar challenges.
When? Wednesday 11 November 2020, 8:00- 9:00am
For more information you can download the information sheet, and hear from some farmers already using YAGRO Analytics here
On Thursday 20th July, The Zoological Society of East Anglia will be launching our first ever corporate cycle challenge: The “Big Banham Bike Ride.” Our aim is to do something a little different from usual business fundraising and networking events. Rather than picking up the golf clubs, why not put on the lycra (other clothing choices are welcome too with prizes available for best dressed!) and join us for a big bike ride around a beautiful part of Norfolk.
For your part in signing up to help with our efforts to conserve some of the worlds most endangered wildlife you’ll be given a light welcome brunch, refreshments at the half way point and an afternoon finger buffet with the chance to network and place bids on some of our great cycling prizes. After the event you will be welcome to join us for a personal tour of Banham Zoo, to find out more about what we do and how we help save some of the worlds most endangered wildlife.
This is a great chance to network with the business community from across East Anglia as well as making a direct contribution to the Wildlife Conservation work of the Zoological Society of East Anglia.
Two routes are available – a 90km ride through rural Norfolk, or a slightly shorter 40km version. Both start and finish at Banham Zoo.

There’s no doubt that the impact of coronavirus is proving extremely challenging for anyone involved in tourism.
The EXPERIENCE project team is inviting you to its first webinar to help you find ways you can adapt to the changing situation and prepare to welcome visitors back when it is safe to do so.
This might be by diversifying, extending the visitor season by offering new high-quality experiences, making your business more sustainable or focussing on being more accessible for people with additional physical or sensory requirements.
Register by midday on Friday, November 20.
This webinar will offer tips and let you know how you could benefit from being involved in the EXPERIENCE project:
How diversification and adaptation could help your recovery plan
Hear about a business that has already adapted to 2020 circumstances
What is experiential tourism? How to tap into it successfully in the off-season (October-March)
New target markets e.g. wellness
The value of sustainability
How making your business more accessible will attract a larger market
You’ll also be invited to:
Tell us how EXPERIENCE can support you with free training or tools to help you adapt to the impact of coronavirus
Sign up to our sustainable tourism networks which offer free training and events, and where you can collaborate with/learn from other organisations involved in tourism.
EXPERIENCE is a €23m project aimed at attracting visitors in the off-peak season, through a new ‘experiential tourism’ approach. See our leaflet attached or visit www.tourismexperience.org.
We will support local organisations to develop unique autumn and winter activities and experiences through training and networking. Our goal is to draw in tourists between October and March (2021/22 and 2022/23) to six areas across England and France, including Norfolk.
We’re looking for a variety of organisations in Norfolk to participate and benefit from what we can offer.
Spaces are strictly limited so register soon! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email us.
