This course is delivered by qualified fire fighters that have extensive fire fighting experience. As an employer it will assist you to fulfil your Health and Safety duties under The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 Section 9 and The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This two day course is the mental health equivalent of physical first aid training and provides delegates with the skills and confidence to recognize the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues and effectively guide a person towards the right support.
The course will introduce delegates to… – Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health – Depression and suicidal crisis – Anxiety, personality disorders, eating disorders and self harm – Psychosis, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder
