Aim – To refresh and update your knowledge on food safety through a series of focused activities – To comply with the CIEH recommendation that certificated training is refreshed every 3 years – To maintain your due diligence defence! – To re-energise your interest in your food safety management systems, which must also be pe-riodically reviewed (by law!!)

Who – Any holders of the Level 4 Award; owners, managers, trainers, QA/HACCP team, etc.

What

This one day course is designed by the RedCat Team (even though they recommend it, the CIEH/HABC don’t have a refresher qualification); – Food safety; latest hazards and trends, new pathogens, etc. – Latest legislation & technology – Food Safety Management/HACCP; the steps, with practical examples, – Monitoring HACCP procedures – Verification, review, documentation

How:  A one-day class room session, based on a series of syndicate exercises, activities and case studies (regular customers will know we don’t just lecture you!)

We won’t make you sit the exam again, but we’ll give you one or two “past paper” style

Tutors: Sarah Daniels is a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner, having spent over 25 years in the profession. She has been trained in HACCP by the Food Standards Agency. The RedCat partnership have been providing food safety training and consultancy in Norfolk, East Anglia and nationally for over 19 years.

Why This Course?

This focus of this course is in developing, implementing, monitoring and verifying food safety procedures. It will cover a wider range of food safety hazards, to a greater depth, than Level 3 courses. This course is an important step towards our client businesses become more self-sufficient with food safety management. Ultimately it helps to protect your brand and your customers’ confidence in your products and services.

Who’s Suitable?

Owners & managers of larger/multi-site catering or manufacturing business, especially where food safety management systems are bespoke.

Also, anyone involved in the implementation of food safety management systems and the direct supervision of staff. If you’re unsure, give us a call to discuss your needs.

How Is This Course Delivered?

There’s no substitute for a traditional classroom-based course for Level 4 (Zoom just doesn’t cut it here). The course is delivered at our No.8 training facilities where we have a full range of COVID-19 controls in place. This is a challenging course, equivalent to Foundation/1st Year Degree level studies, so a degree of self-study will be required. There are five, 1-day sessions, followed by an assessment on a 6th day; assessment is a 2.5 hour-long mix of mutli-choice questions (but tought ones!) and long-answer questions.

This digital event will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to effectively mediate disputes, leading to sustainable solutions to conflict within your workplace. The event will be delivered via Zoom, in two sessions, over two consecutive days. The duration of each session will be 3 hours. The dates are:

• Day 1 – 23rd of March 2021, 10:00 – 13:00
• Day 2 – 24th of March 2021, 10:00 – 13:00

Business need

Conflict at work can be stressful, time consuming and disruptive for all concerned. Dealing with conflict when it arises and addressing the root causes of conflict at the earliest opportunity, can ultimately save you time and money.  Mediation involves working with those in conflict to help them explore the issues and agree their own solutions. Delivered via Zoom this event will provide you with a in depth understanding of the mediation process. You will have the opportunity to practise your mediation skills, enabling you to confidently manage difficult situations in your workplace.
