Level 3 Award in Effective Auditing and Inspection Skills
This qualification is for supervisors, team leaders and QA staff who are involved in verification of food safety through auditing and inspection. It is also relevant to enforcement agency staff, to whom consistency is vital. Learning outcomes: *Understanding auditing and inspection what is and appreciate the benefits and limitations *Consider the collecting and verifying information *Appreciate the stages in audit and inspection *Improve your ability to analysis and and interpret data *People skills; improve your ability to get the right information *Appreciate the competencies and characteristics of auditors *Consider the implementation of on-site audits and inspections *Consider the preparation of written reports How is the course delivered? *A one day classroom session, based on a series of syndicate exercises, activities and case studies (regular RedCat clients will know we don’t just lecture you!) *Assesment by a 30 question multiple choice exam on the day! Pass mark is 20/30, and 25/30 will earn you a merit. Prerequisites: A recent level 3 certificate in food safety is desireable but not mandatory. More important are good basic literacy and numeracy (to level 2). We can however make special adjustments if needs be. About this course
Almost half of all organisations in the UK fall victim to cyber security breaches every year, often leading to personal data breaches, interruption to business, financial loss and reputational damage.
Many businesses still mistakenly consider Cyber Security a technical IT problem, but more and more are realising that Cyber Attacks such as Ransomware and business email compromise (BEC) represent a key business risk requiring visibility and focus at the executive level.

Offshore Wind Week- East Anglia
EEEGR is delighted to be able to announce that it will, once again, be working with RenewableUK, the main offshore wind operators in our region and other stakeholders in celebrating Offshore Wind Week with the bespoke East Anglian event taking place on November 22nd and 23rd at OrbisEnergy in Lowestoft.
Whilst the speaker line up is still being confirmed we will have updates on many of the projects under construction, those projects successfully secured a Contract for Difference (CfD) as well as those still in planning. Speakers will include ScottishPower Renewables, Statoil and Vattenfall. We will also here from local MP Peter Aldous on his views of how the sector has impacted upon his constituency in Waveney and his wider views on future development for offshore wind in the wider region.
Skills provision will also be high on the agenda with presentations and case studies from the regions apprentices, schools, colleges and universities as well as commercial skills providers.
